A Dream Come True
I love it when everything comes together just nicely to create the perfect portrait session. And I don’t just mean schedules aligning seamlessly. I also mean traffic is manageable – we all know anything can happen with I-4! Beyond that, the weather is just right and your hair keeps those perfect curls all session long. This is exactly how Laura and Brandon’s Bok Tower Engagement session played out for us during the dreamest of afternoons.
Just between you and me, my morning was spent checking the weather app every five minutes putting my meteorologist cap on to make the best judgment call. That’s life in Florida though – beautiful and sunny one minute, crazy dark and stormy the next. Luckily for us, the skies remained clear and bright as we caught the last touches of azaleas in bloom at Bok Tower. It’s truly my FAVORITE time of year to visit the garden! I’m often asked what my favorite location is to photograph in throughout Florida. Bok Tower remains at the top of that list year after year.
The gardens are full of pops of pink and white during the spring. If you can’t catch the spring, the lovely scent of orange blossoms will fill the air as the season transitions to summer. You can hear the subtle buzzing of bees throughout the grove while they too enjoy all that the garden has to offer. Goodness, I feel as though I can smell the Orange blossoms once again just looking at these photos! Laura and Brandon’s Bok Tower Engagement Session was an absolute dream come true and an honor to capture.
