A Charming Garden Wedding

Gosh, sometimes wedding days can go by in a blur for me and sometimes they can be a beautiful flood of emotions that looking back the memories almost feel palpable. Alex and Jay’s Indianapolis Museum of Art wedding day was like that. As I think back on their day I can remember the warmth of the sun on my skin, the light streaming through the trees as guests started to arrive for their ceremony and the laughter heard nonstop throughout the evening as they danced the night away.

I think what stands out strongest in my mind is how dearly loved these two are by their family and friends. Those close to them speak about their amazing hearts and dedication to their careers in the hopes of seeing the world become a brighter tomorrow. They devote themselves to the education system making sure young lives are not only well educated but they make sure they know they are seen and heard.

What Made it Unique

They chose a beautiful setting for all of their family and friends to gather to celebrate their union. Between the gorgeous landscaping of the Newfields Indianapolis Museum of Art and the iconic art (including the original LOVE statue), their day was surrounded by incredible creativity and beauty. Their sophisticated style only enhanced and complimented their surrounds with the help of the wonderful design of Detail and Design. From first look to last dance, it was such a joy to see such stunning locations come to life!

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT KT

At home near the ocean. Ever-focused on exploration and finding beauty in stillness; found in the moments that leave me inspired and in wonderment.

Over the span of the last fifteen years, I've learned far beyond the artistry of capturing an image. It's evolved into an exploration of embracing the imperfections and discovering how a couple connects with the world around them. My deepest hope remains still: to capture moments not only worthy of filling your home, but ones where laughter is palpable and your love radiates with each passing milestone.
