On occasion, Vicki and George’s glances at one another reminded me of a couple out on their first date. Giddy laughter seemed to follow them throughout their Bok Tower film engagement session. At the same time, I caught moments where they looked as comfortable as a couple that had been together for years. In sync with their movements and thoughts, it was clear they are deeply in love.
Listening to their story, it just seemed like they were meant to be from the beginning. George had already graduated college, but a career fair at his university brought him back to campus. Vicki had interned with the very company George was promoting and at that point had already accepted a job with the company. It was there they connected instantly!
Their proposal was just as sweet as the day they met. Eager to make sure it was a complete surprise, George used a typical friend gathering for the perfect decoy. Strolling through Williamsburg in Brooklyn, their friends were conveniently running a bit late. With a view of the New York City skyline in the background, he dropped to one knee and asked the questions.
Escaping the cold weather of the Northeast, we met up in Orlando, FL for their beautiful sun-filled engagement session at Bok Tower Gardens. I was so grateful the iconic oak trees lasted through Hurricane Irma. The grounds not only looked untouched but thriving with flowers and it’s golden grassy fields. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day to capture their love!
These two have such wonderful vision for their wedding day. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest friends, they will say their “I dos” on the beautiful grounds of Highlands Country Club in New York. I cannot wait to see their vision come to life!
