I can’t tell you how much I adore this engagement session! Chris and Katie had the sweetest idea to walk through their entire first date! From the butterflies in their stomach during the first few minutes all the way to the delicious popsicles to end out the evening. We laughed as they recalled nerves from that first date and swooned over moments where they both knew it was something special. Walking through downtown Gainesville brought us to the Hippodome State Theatre where Katie and Chris had the opportunity to keep warm and cuddle up. Well at least that was the case during their session. During their first date, it was where they nervously sat side by side considering holding hands and chatting the night away. That very bench became the spot where Chris would ask Katie to be his forever and always (????????????). We finished out the afternoon stroll by stopping by The Hyppo which specializes in Artisian Ice Pops, aka DELICIOUS popsicles. I just love that these two will be able to revisit these images and remember their very first date together, butterflies and all.
