You may not have known, but my husband and I spent half of our first year of marriage apart from one another. We weren’t just states away, but an ocean away. I was busy capturing weddings in the States while my husband completed his studies in Germany. It was one of the hardest seasons of life and we are grateful to now have been together in one spot more than apart (WOOHOO!!!)! Ashley and Raymond are powering through their long distance engagement. I have no doubt they are both counting down the days, hours and minutes to the moment they get to say “I do” and transition to daily life together.
Having a long distance relationship means that any time together is very precious and usually packed full of events. Their engagement session was nestled in between meetings and gatherings, but they were absolute troupers making the early drive to the Washington Oaks Garden State Park. It has easily become one of my favorite parks in the state. When Ashley suggested it I just about leaped out of my chair in excitement! The beach side is probably the closest thing in Florida to the cliffs of California while the trees and garden make you feel as though you’re stepping through Savannah. Such a unique place! The sun was high and bright, but the wind was crazy chilly. I just love love LOVE this session and hope you do as well!!!
