This little one has had quite an adventure for just her first few years of life. Albert and I met Jessica and her husband years ago, long before he and I were even married. It’s been a joy to embrace life with them including one of my favorite road trips to Washington D.C. to watch the fireworks on 4th of July! We saw the best museums, ate delicious food, took naps on the mall and got to see John Williams conduct the orchestra during the firework show (dream come true!). Our grand 4th of July adventure took place just a few months before we all departed to different countries. It seemed fitting to embrace one of our favorite national holidays in a special way.
During their season abroad, Jessica and her husband welcomed their first child into the world. Although R may be too young to remember her first years of life spent in another country, I have no doubt she will enjoy the opportunity to see her first home as she grows older. It was so sweet to be able to catch up and capture these two at the Washington Oaks State Garden!
